 The year 1982 witnessed the inauguration of Continental
Valves Limited. The main objective of the Company was to produce and supply highly
sophisticated Control Valves in technical collaboration with M/S GULDE
REGELARMATUREN of West Germany. In 1983 the company started assembly &
testing of valves by importing components from its collaborator and commenced its
commercial production in January 1985. The Company has manufactured and supplied valves to
ABB, Assam Petrochemicals Ltd., NRL, IPCL, BPCL, IFFCO, HPCL, IOCL, RAYALSEEMA, TATA
CHEMICALS, CFCL, MAX, GB, CRL, GAIL, ONGC, SEB, CESC, TEC, DVB, HZL, FCI through various
consultants like EIL, BHEL, NTPC, TOYO ENGG., DAVY POWER GAS, ICB, TEC, LLOYDS, etc.
.. CONTROL VALVES RANGE
INCLUDES :
- Top guided single seated Globe valves in ANSI Class 150# & 300#
size range ½" to 8".
- Cage guided single seated Globe Valve of ANSI Class 150#, 300#
& 600#, size range ½" to 12".
- High Pressure Cage guided Globe valves in ANSI Class 900#, 1500#
& 2500#, and size range 1" to 12".
- Wafer type Butterfly Valve in ANSI Class 150# & 300# and size
range 3" to 40".
- Wafer type Butterfly Valve in ANSI Class 600#, 900#, 1500# &
2500#; size range 3" to 12".
- 3-way Valves in ANSI Class 150# & 300# and size range 1"
to 12".
 Another division of Titagarh
Industries, TIL - FCD, started its commercial production in 1995 & its engaged in
manufacturing and supplying of High Pressure Gate, Globe, Check Valves in ANSI 600, 900,
1500 & 2500 Classes, both in Pressure Sealed and Bolted bonnet design based on
technology absorbed from M/S PACIFIC VALVES OF USA. TIL - FCD has successfully developed
and executed orders from DLF Industries Ltd. (for various Power Projects & Sugar
Industries), BHEL, Hyderabad (for NRL, NFCL - Kakinada and IFFCO, Phulpur Projects),
L&T (for FACT AND FEDO), TISCO, ONGC, Triveni Engg, Coal India Ltd., Walchandnagar
Industries, Monnet Industries, Tehri Pulp & Paper etc.
